Do double pointed needles scare you? Learning how to knit in the round using 2 circular needles might just be for you. We will learn to knit a basic cuff down sock using 2 circular needles. Materials: 2 – US #5-24 needles and 1 skein Cascade 220 yarn.

Learn the basics of this beautiful knit fabric while making a scarf. It really is very fun & easy to do. Prerequisites: Comfortable knitting, purling, and decreasing. Materials: 2 skeins Noro Kureyon or Silk Garden, US #7 needle, Spring 2007 Interweave Magazine (available in store).

LACE SAMPLER SCARF 3-2 hour classes $90.00

Learn the basics of lace knitting while making a sampler scarf. We will learn to read a lace pattern, how to make “lifelines”, and grafting stitches. Supplies: 1 skein Superior laceweight yarn, Filatura di Crosa F/W 2007 pattern booklet, US #6-24 (lace point preferable).

MINI SWEATER AND STOCKING      2-2-hour classes $60.00

Learn the basics of color work while making this large Christmas stocking (sample in store).  The stocking is worked flat (to accommodate the color work) and is finished on double pointed needles to complete the foot in the round.  Pick up supply list when you register.

CLASS POLICIES

• Materials are not included in class price.
• Students will receive a 10% store discount on yarn while enrolled (Please remind us you are enrolled.)
• Class sizes are limited, so please sign up early!  To reserve your space, we ask you to pre-pay.
• To cancel a class, you must call us at least 1 week before the class start date so we can issue you a store credit or reschedule you for a later class.  No cash refunds.
• If for some reason we need to cancel a class, we will issue you a refund.
• Private/group classes must be scheduled 2-4 weeks in advance.
• Only registered students may be seated at class table.
• Out of respect to teachers and students alike all classes are no phone zones.  Please turn your cell phone off or leave it on silent during class time.
• Classes may be cancelled if minimum requirement of three (3) students if not met.
